Atlanta Onsite Corporate Headshots for Teams, Conferences & Remote Companies

One of the most common questions I hear from companies planning a corporate headshots day in Atlanta is:

“Can we really get great headshots if we only have a few minutes per employee?”

The answer is yes.

Recently, I photographed professional corporate headshots for a team of 55 employees during an onsite session. Like many organizations, they wanted consistent, professional images for their website, LinkedIn profiles, marketing materials, and internal communications—without taking employees away from their work for long periods of time.

Whether your company prefers a traditional studio-style setup or more environmental portraits, there are several approaches to corporate headshots. You can see an example of a session where we used the workplace itself as the background in my blog post Global Team Headshots in Atlanta | Interface Team Session.

What many people don’t realize is that a well-organized corporate headshot session doesn’t require 20 or 30 minutes per person. With the right preparation, an efficient workflow, and an experienced photographer guiding every step, employees can receive beautiful professional headshots in 5 minutes or less.

Bringing a Professional Studio to Your Workplace

One of the biggest advantages of onsite corporate headshots is convenience.

Rather than asking employees to travel to a photography studio, I bring a complete portable studio directly to your location. This includes professional lighting, backdrop stands, backdrops, and all the equipment needed to create consistent, high-quality images.

For this session, we used a clean white backdrop, which works beautifully for company websites and LinkedIn profiles. Depending on the company’s branding and preferences, I also frequently use a thunder gray backdrop or a nice office or conference room.

I always arrive early to have all the needed time to set up, test all equipment, and make sure everything is ready before employees begin arriving. Whenever possible, I turn off the office ceiling lights, which are often too warm or inconsistent for flattering portraits.

A conference room, or even a lobby, is usually all that’s needed to create a professional headshot studio. Want a few tips on how to have the best headshot experience? I share my recommendations in my blog post What makes a great headshot

Perfect for Offices, Conferences, and Remote Teams

While many of my corporate headshot sessions take place in company offices, that’s not the only option.

For organizations with remote or hybrid employees, annual meetings, leadership retreats, conferences, and company conventions are often the perfect opportunity to update everyone’s headshots at once.

I’ve photographed teams in:

  • Corporate offices
  • Hotel conference rooms
  • Convention centers
  • Event venues
  • Coworking spaces

Because I bring a complete portable studio, almost any meeting space can be transformed into a professional headshot setup.

For companies whose employees only see each other once or twice a year, scheduling headshots during a convention or company-wide gathering is often the most efficient solution. This is especially true for organizations that are investing in a broader company rebrand. Consistent photography across websites, LinkedIn profiles, and marketing materials helps create a cohesive professional image.

How We Photograph Each Employee in Under 5 Minutes

A successful headshot day starts before the session itself.

A few days before every corporate headshot session, I send a reminder email that includes appointment times and a preparation guide. Employees know exactly when to arrive, what to wear, and what to expect, helping the day run smoothly from start to finish.

On headshot day, I work from a schedule and employee list to keep everything organized and on time.

For each person, I photograph three different standing angles:

  • Facing the camera
  • Turned 45 degrees to the left
  • Turned 45 degrees to the right

For each angle, I guide employees through several subtle variations in posture, expression, and body positioning. This gives everyone multiple strong options to choose from while keeping the process quick and efficient.

No Modeling Experience Required

The vast majority of people I photograph are not comfortable in front of a camera—and that’s completely normal.

One of my jobs as a corporate headshot photographer is to guide employees through the entire process. I provide direction on everything from posture and shoulder positioning to chin angle, hand placement, and facial expressions.

No one is expected to know how to pose.

Throughout the session, I make small adjustments and offer continuous feedback so employees can relax and focus on being themselves. The result is a collection of natural, confident images that look professional without feeling stiff or overly posed.

After photographing hundreds of professionals in offices, hotels, event venues, and conference spaces, I’ve learned how to help people look their best quickly and efficiently.

Selecting the Final Images

After the session, the image selection process is customized to the company’s preferences.

Some organizations prefer that each employee receives a private gallery to select their favorite image. Others prefer that a designated team member or marketing department make the final selections for consistency.

Either way, the process is simple and streamlined.

What Clients Say

“I highly recommend Laure for your photography needs. She handled headshots for more than 50 team members during our company meeting and also captured candid photos at our reception event. The editing and turnaround time was quick, and we had our pics in hand within days.

Laure made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, offering helpful guidance on posing throughout the event. She also provided a prep guide beforehand so everyone knew what to wear and what to expect, which made the process seamless.

She did an amazing job, and the photos turned out beautifully. We were thrilled with the entire experience and the final results. I would definitely work with her again.”
