Sometimes, you arrive at a photo session and you have a great feeling! The family had made such an amazing job coordinating the outfits that you know the result is going to be great. This is exactly what happened with Natalie’s maternity photo session I had the pleasure to take in Atlanta! 

Maternity photo session in a beautiful Brookhaven park

After suggesting a few of my favorite Atlanta locations, we selected a beautiful Brookhaven spot for the photo session – Murphy Candler Park. This park offers such an amazing variety of possible images. It has a curvy path with a pond on one side and woods on the other side. Cherry on the cake, Natalie and Charlie coming from Florida, were happy to document this season of anticipation with water in the background!

Coordinated outfits are the best!

Natalie found me through Google. Sent me a message including “I love your style and hoping you have an availability for my maternity pictures”. As you can imagine, I am always so happy when families randomly find my website! On the day of our session, when I saw Natalie, her husband and their daughter, Emma Kate arriving in perfectly coordinated outfits, I was excited and ready to start! Emma Kate, who was almost 2, had the cutest dress and coat. As they are welcoming another little girl, it was perfect to coordinate all the outfits around light pink. 

Even Natalie’s mother – who was here to help with Emma Kate – cloths were coordinated. It allowed great pictures with the 3 generations. I just love multi-generations family photo sessions 🙂 Scroll to see the pictures! 

When my families book a session, I send them a Family Welcome Guide I have specificly created for them. And it is the best when they follow it that well. It gives an harmony to the images while keeping the focus where it should be, on the family and here on the belly!
