One of my last 2021 sessions was a multi-generation family photo session in Brookhaven Atlanta GA. I just love extended family / multi-generation sessions! It is not only about the beautiful memories various generations will be able to display on their respective walls. It is also about the experience and the time spent together.

Having three generations gathered on the same pictures is an extraordinary legacy for the youngest. It is also a beautiful present for the oldest.

As we all know, it is not an easy task to draw families together for a portrait session. Finding the right date (three generations of constraints!) and coordinating outfits (I got you covered for this one with my Session Guide!) requires organization. But it is so worth it!

When Lindsay told me they wanted to change her family session to an extended family session, I was all in! We started right away to brainstorm on various potential locations. We also decided on the best time of the day to have the perfect light and. Then we focused on how to coordinate the outfits.
