Welcoming a newborn in your family is such an amazing, beautiful and magical moment. This is an incredibly exciting time and I am always so honored to capture those precious instants.

The morning after coming back from a Paris trip to visit my family, I met baby Elise and her family in their Springlake Atlanta home for her lifestyle indoor newborn session!

She was the cutest 11 days old baby girl and already incredibly awake for her age. She only slept for a few photos before giving us the most amazing opened eyes! Wait to see the pictures!

During the whole session, Elise was protected by her brother. CJ was so proud of his new role as a big brother. Each time his baby sister moved or even just opened an eye he was so excited and ready to play! We got the most genius smiles, and giggles (which of course made us giggle too 🙂 ), the multiple times I made his stuffed animal fall from my camera.

In case you wonder, I have tons of ideas to make toddlers smile and laugh 🙂

During a lifestyle session, having the whole family seat on the parents bed is one if my favorite spots to take newborn pictures. Everyone is more relaxed, comfortable and in their environment. It is also easier to get a solid neutral background to keep the focus on what is important: The Family!
