Maternity and family photo session
I first met Marie last winter one day I was walking with my husband and kids in our neighborhood. While we were walking past her house she heard us speak French and we ended up chatting for a few minutes. It was so fun to meet another French family almost down our street. Fast-forward a few weeks, Marie told one of her friends that she was looking for a photographer to do her maternity pictures and her friend referred me to her!
As you will see on the pictures, Marie was very very pregnant when we took the pictures, she gave birth to the cutest baby boy only 10 days later! You will discover his newborn pictures in a next blog!
Maternity and newborn pictures
If they are looking for lifestyle maternity and newborn portraits, I often have families booking me for both of them.
Both are huge milestones of your life. It might be sometimes easier to already have a connection with your photographer before letting her in your home only a few days after having given birth! You don’t want to pretend that you have it all under control while it is just impossible. It is a amazing moment but it is normal to be overwhelmed!
