Laure Photography serves Atlanta, GA / Paris France and believes in the power of unique and meaningful images

The first days with your newborn are incredibly special — and they go by faster than you ever expect.

Newborn photo sessions are ideally scheduled within the first 6–12 days of life, when babies are sleepier and more comfortable being gently posed. That said, every baby is different, and I always adapt to your newborn’s needs.

You may not know yet whether you prefer lifestyle images, gently posed portraits, photos of just your baby or the whole family — or whether you want your session indoors or outdoors. That’s completely normal. We’ll decide together, and it’s absolutely possible to include a little of everything.

Because this season of life can feel overwhelming, my goal is to help you slow down and enjoy the experience. I bring everything needed to your home — lighting, wraps, blankets, baskets, and simple props — so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Whether your home has large windows or limited space, I’ll guide you through the entire process, from our first conversation to the delivery of your final images.

Before your session, you’ll receive:
  • A short online questionnaire to learn more about your family and your preferences
  • A Newborn Session Style Guide covering outfits, preparation, and what to expect

About 10 days after your session, you’ll receive your fully edited images through a private online gallery.

Fill out my contact form, and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours to learn more about your family and due date.

We’ll choose a date, sign a contract, and decide on the best location — usually your home. You’ll receive a Newborn Session Style Guide and questionnaire to help you feel prepared and relaxed.

Sessions typically last up to 90 minutes, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks. I follow your baby’s rhythm and keep everything calm and stress-free.

About 10 days after your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can download your images and order professional prints if you wish.

Atlanta Newborn Photography FAQ

When should I book my newborn session?

Ideally during pregnancy. We’ll schedule your session based on your due date and adjust once your baby arrives.

What if my baby doesn’t sleep or needs breaks?

That’s completely normal. Sessions are baby-led and include time for feeding, soothing, and cuddling.

Do you offer in-home newborn sessions?

Yes. Most newborn sessions take place in your home, where your baby is most comfortable.

Can parents and siblings be included?

Absolutely. I encourage family participation and will guide everyone gently throughout the session.

When will we receive our photos?

Your fully edited online gallery will be delivered within 10 business days.
