Graduating from Georgia Tech is a huge accomplishment. Doing it after completing a Master’s degree online, and stepping onto campus for the very first time on graduation day, makes it even more meaningful.
Pallovi traveled to Atlanta to celebrate her Georgia Tech Master’s graduation, and her experience was nothing short of special. With 11 family members joining her from several different states, this session became about much more than portraits. It was about discovery, connection, and celebrating a milestone together.
A Georgia Tech Graduation Session with Family at the Heart
Because so many of Pallovi’s loved ones made the trip, family photos were a priority. From big group portraits to smaller, candid moments, her gallery reflects the people who supported her throughout her academic journey.
Including family in graduation photos is always powerful, but in Pallovi’s case, it felt especially important. Her degree represents years of dedication completed remotely, yet supported by people near and far. Capturing those relationships was a key part of telling her story.
Starting at the Georgia Tech Tower at the Best Time of Day
We began the session at the iconic Georgia Tech Tower, timed perfectly for soft, flattering light. From there, we spent about 1.5 hours walking through campus, creating a relaxed flow that allowed for both posed portraits and natural, in-between moments.
As we explored, Pallovi discovered spots she had heard about throughout her program but had never seen in person. Turning those long‑imagined places into real memories is one of the most rewarding parts of photographing Georgia Tech graduation sessions.
Discovering Campus Together
Even though it was Pallovi’s first time on campus, she felt confident choosing me as her photographer. One of the reasons she reached out was because she had seen my previous Georgia Tech graduation blog posts and knew I was familiar with the campus.
That familiarity allowed us to move efficiently, avoid crowded areas when possible, and make the most of our time together. It also meant she could fully enjoy the experience instead of worrying about where to go next.
A Graduation Experience, Not Just Photos
Graduation sessions are about more than images. They’re about marking the end of a chapter and honoring the journey it took to get there. Pallovi’s session was filled with laughter, pride, and genuine moments shared with her family.
Whether you’re a traditional on‑campus student or an online graduate visiting Georgia Tech for the first time, your story deserves to be documented thoughtfully.
Client Testimonial
“Laure was absolutely amazing, I can’t say enough great things about her. She did my Georgia Tech Master’s graduation photos and went above and beyond from start to finish. She helped me find the best locations on campus, coordinated timing seamlessly, and captured incredible shots of both my solo photos and my group. I am an OMSCS grad, thus this was my first time on campus and she made it a wonderful experience!
She gave clear, easy-to-follow direction while still making everything feel natural, which resulted in beautiful, authentic images. On top of that, she’s incredibly personable and professional, the entire shoot was fun, relaxed, and truly unforgettable.
I 200% recommend her to anyone looking for stunning photos and an all-around great experience.”
If you’re planning your Georgia Tech graduation photos and want a photographer who knows the campus and values meaningful, personal storytelling, I would love to help you celebrate this milestone.
