There’s something magical about a Sunday morning, especially when you’re capturing senior portraits in the heart of Sandy Springs! Dareen’s senior photoshoot, which started near Sandy Springs City Hall, was a total adventure from start to finish.

A Stormy Surprise & a Perfect Reschedule

Originally planned for the Friday evening, the weather had other plans for us and it wasn’t even on the forecast! Just as I pulled up to Dareen’s house, the skies opened up, thunder rolled, and lightning flashed. While the storm was quite a spectacle, we had to quickly reschedule. Little did we know, Sunday morning would turn out to be absolutely perfect!

Sunshine, Smiles & The Perfect Location

Dareen showed up with her radiant smile. She was an absolute dream to work with—cooperative, energetic, and ready to have fun. As we explored the location, I couldn’t help but get excited about the mix of greenery, fountains, and the city’s chic vibes. Sandy Springs City Hall really gave us the best of both worlds, offering beautiful urban touches while still being surrounded by nature.

Capturing Candid Joy & A Splashy Surprise

We kicked things off in the green spaces around City Hall. Whether she was casually sitting on a bench or twirling in the open space, every shot captured her joy and enthusiasm. As we wandered, we found charming fountains, and of course, we couldn’t resist incorporating them into her session!

In a playful twist at the end, Dareen agreed to dip her toes into one of the fountains—and before I knew it, she was laughing, fully embracing the moment. It was such a spontaneous and fun way to end the session, perfectly fitting for her joyful spirit.

A Session to Remember

This session was truly one for the books! The morning sunlight, the stunning location, and most importantly, Dareen’s positive energy all came together for a memorable and colorful shoot. We may have had a storm delay, but sometimes a little rain brings a rainbow of unexpected fun!
