Graduation Portraits at Georgia Tech | Celebrating Jason’s Big Day

There’s something incredibly special about graduation sessions — it’s not just about wearing the cap and gown, it’s about celebrating years of hard work, friendships, and growth. And Jason’s graduation portraits session on the Georgia Tech campus was exactly that: personal, meaningful, and so much fun!

A Proud Moment: Meeting Jason and His Mom

I met Jason and his mom, who had flown in all the way from Chicago for the occasion, on a beautiful afternoon at Georgia Tech. The timing couldn’t have been better — the sun was soft, the campus was buzzing with excitement, and you could feel the pride in the air.

A Lucky Surprise: Photos with the Ramblin’ Wreck

Right as we started, we were greeted by the ultimate Georgia Tech icon: the Ramblin’ Wreck — a shiny 1930 Ford Model A Sport coupe that serves as the university’s mechanical mascot. It was completely unplanned but such a perfect way to kick off Jason’s graduation photos. His face lit up, and we captured some fantastic shots in front of this legendary piece of Tech history!

Walking Down Memory Lane: Personalizing the Session

After the Ramblin’ Wreck, we set off to explore the campus, visiting all the spots that meant the most to Jason during his four years at Tech.

One of my absolute favorite stops was in front of the Dunkin’, where Jason grabbed his coffee every single morning before class. It’s little moments like that — the small routines that shaped his days — that turn a graduation photo session into something truly personal and memorable.

Dressed for the Occasion: School Colors and Graduation Pride

Jason looked sharp in his classic graduation outfit: his cap and gown layered over a crisp white shirt and a yellow tie — proudly representing Georgia Tech’s school colors. Every time I raised the camera, I could see the perfect blend of excitement and pride on both Jason’s and his mom’s faces. These are the moments that make my job such a joy.

Perfect Timing: Sunshine, Smiles, and Just a Dash of Luck

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for us. The sky stayed clear throughout the shoot, the light was soft and golden, and the whole session felt like one big celebration. On my way home, I felt a few drops of rain hit my windshield — and not long after, Atlanta was hit with a huge storm. But Jason’s moment? Spared and perfect!

More Than Just a Portrait: Why Your Graduation Story Matters

Graduation photos are about more than wearing your cap and gown. They’re about the memories — the friendships, the places, the small routines, the hard work, and the journey that got you to this moment.

When you book a session with me, we don’t just snap a few pretty pictures — we tell your story. Whether it’s the spot you studied for finals, the coffee shop that fueled your mornings, or the buildings that saw you grow, I make sure your session is personal and meaningful.
