I love mini-sessions! I usually have one or two dates in the Spring and way more in the Fall, in Atlanta. Last year, I organized more than 80 mini-sessions between the end of September and mid-November. it is the perfect duration for toddlers attention span!

Most of my mini-sessions are booked by families, but they also include couples, seniors, maternity, and more and more grandparents. I even had extended families booking 2 or 3 mini-sessions back-to-back. All combinations are possible as my clients needs always come first.

Following a lot of requests, I am also going to organize headshots mini-sessions in my studio soon!

My Spring Mini-Sessions at Duck Pond Park – Atlanta Buckhead

For my 2022 Spring minis I selected the Duck Pond Park in Buckhead Atlanta. I recently did a few photo sessions there, but no minis so I was excited to see how to deal with the light at different times of the day! Check my blog “Best time of the day to organize family portraits” to know more.

This Buckhead Garden Hills park is beautiful. This location is perfect for parking, easy to find each other and as I pay a reservation fee we are sure to be alone! It checks all my criteria.

It was a great mix of returning and new families

This is such a treat to see some families every 6 months. The kids are growing up so fast each time I can’t believe it has already been 6 months I haven’t seen them! 

A family I see twice a year at my minis took back-to-back mini-sessions as a Mother’s Day present for the grand-mother. Another family welcomed a 3rd child, a baby girl, during the winter. I remember so well taking their pictures when they got their 2nd son a couple of years ago 🙂 Other families heard about me thanks to their neighbors, school mums, or just found me on Google.

Here are a few pictures of my Spring Family Mini-Sessions’s morning at Duck Pond Park in Buckhead Atlanta. The afternoon ones will come in another blog! It was so difficult to select which ones to share. I take way to many pictures, even during a 15 minutes mini-session!
