I’ve known John Stoj for a few years now—our sons used to be in the same class. At the end of a birthday party, he mentioned that he needed an Atlanta personal brand photo session as a financial advisor for his new business, Verbatim Financial, a financial planning and advisory service.

John’s goal is to offer an alternative to the traditional Wall Street approach. He had an amazing concept and needed visual content that would align with his values and message across all communication platforms.

At the time, the only image on his website and social media was an old headshot. Updating his branding with a professional photo session was one of his top priorities.

During our consultation, guided by a questionnaire John had filled out, we focused on why he needed the photos and the key messages he wanted to communicate.

We spent the morning capturing behind-the-scenes moments of John working in his office—recording podcasts, hosting both in-person and virtual client meetings, and interacting in a professional yet approachable way.

We also took a few relaxed and formal headshots before moving on to more lifestyle-oriented shots that reflected John’s personality and hobbies.
